ROOC — design, product and commerce in one website.
A website architecture connecting the material catalogue, commerce, sample ordering and technical content without splitting the experience across separate platforms.

About the project
You need to see the material first.
ROOC offers finishing materials whose appearance, texture and character matter as much as their practical properties. The website therefore could not be just another catalogue.
The presentation layer is connected directly to the catalogue and user actions. One content model leads from inspiration to a product, sample, enquiry or purchase across desktop and mobile.

Solution
An architecture connecting catalogue, content and commerce.
- 01
Catalogue model
Six material families share a consistent presentation model for properties, applications, photography and next steps without flattening the range into one list.
- 02
Connected journeys
The catalogue, shop, sample ordering and contact forms use contextual transitions, preserving continuity between discovering a product and taking action.
- 03
Process in the product
Enquiry, material selection, samples, ordering and technical support are represented in the interface as one predictable project journey.
- 04
Content system
Product content, the Academy and educational material share one hierarchy, allowing commerce and knowledge to evolve without creating parallel websites.
Outcome
One system from inspiration to order.
ROOC brings media, product data, knowledge and commerce into one architecture. New material families and content can be added without breaking the route from discovery to purchase or contact.
